Zephex pricing is request-based: one hosted endpoint, monthly request caps, and dashboard-managed API keys.

Every tools/call request that reaches the Zephex endpoint counts as one request, regardless of which tool you call or how long it takes. tools/list does not count against your monthly limit, so you can check the available tools as often as you need.
Once you hit your monthly limit, subsequent tools/call requests return a rate_limit_exceeded error with the reset date. Your editor still shows the tools as connected and tools/list still works. Limits reset on the first day of the next month at 00:00 UTC.
Pro includes a 7-day free trial. During the trial you get the full Pro limits: 3,500 monthly requests, 10 backends, and unlimited API keys. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged.
Go to Dashboard → Billing → Upgrade Plan. The change takes effect immediately. Your remaining requests are not lost; the higher monthly cap applies to the rest of the current month.
Billing is handled by Stripe and accepts major credit and debit cards. Cryptocurrency payments and invoice-based billing are not currently offered.
You can cancel anytime from Dashboard → Billing → Cancel Plan. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period. After that, the account drops back to the Free tier with 555 requests per month. API keys and dashboard data are retained.
Before canceling, you are shown what you will lose and offered alternatives (downgrade to a lower tier, reduce usage with per-key caps). A brief survey asks why you are leaving to help us improve the service.
Pro and Max users can enable overage billing from Dashboard → Billing → Overage Billing toggle. When enabled, requests beyond your monthly limit are metered at $0.003/request (Pro) or $0.002/request (Max) and added to your next invoice. You can disable overage at any time to revert to hard-blocking at the limit.
If you hit your limit and prefer a one-time purchase over overage billing, buy a top-up pack: $5 for 2,000 extra requests or $10 for 4,000 extra requests. Top-ups are available immediately and do not roll over to the next month.
Pro and Max users can set a monthly request cap on individual API keys to prevent one integration from consuming the entire quota. Set from Dashboard → API Keys → gauge icon. When a key hits its cap, only that key is blocked; other keys continue working.
Invoices are generated by Stripe on each billing cycle. Access them from Dashboard → Billing → Open Billing Portal. Receipts are emailed automatically after each successful payment.
If you cancel within the 7-day Pro trial, you are not charged. For paid months, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact billing@zephex.dev within 7 days of a charge.
